Offshore drilling rig installations including major coatings integrity surveys on behalf of Aker Kvaerner. Additional specialised services we offer are “In dock and out dock” hull roughness surveys and data analysis.
Supervision of all steelwork / surface preparation and coating during the building of the Mossmoran Ethylene facility, LNG Plant at Skikda, Algeria. Tank coating and pipe linings on facilities for oil majors such as Shell, BP, Esso / Exxon Chemical – Risk Management, Kuwait Petroleum Co. and Pullman Kellogg, both in the UK and worldwide.
Inspection and supervision of all aspects of bridge painting and refurbishment projects in all areas of the UK. Major projects completed to date include preparation and painting of bridges over environmentally sensitive waterways, together with major projects such as the Transporter and Queen Alexandra Bridges situated in the North East of England. Clients include Hampshire County Council, Sunderland City Council and Middlesbrough Council.
Supervision and inspection on behalf of Southampton FC of all coating repairs to the structural steelwork of St Mary’s Stadium.
All types of coating failure analysis undertaken, both on-site and at our offices and this service is supported by our associates specialised laboratory facilities as and when required. Adhesion testing, under film contamination, cohesion problems and appearance / integrity of finished coatings all form part of this service. Clients include Hamworthy Engineering and UHP Systems Nl.
We are also able to offer comprehensive technical advice and assistance together with “expert witness” appearance at legal hearings involving all aspects of premature coating and associated process failures.
